Distributed Robotics's Vision and Inspection solutions have ranged from initial testing and prototyping to complete solutions integrated with production machinery.

    Commercial Optical Eyewear
Inspection of molded commercial optical eyewear was done to determine the number, size and type of defects produced in molding process during manufacturing.
    Human Feature Recognition
Positive human identification was achieve by looking at specific features found on all people. Currently implemented in Europe.
    High Speed Web Sensing

A method to sense both the side to side tracking of high speed web materials and the vertical vibrational modes was developed. A system using laser light was prototyped.

    Bulk Pouch Detection

Filled pouches in bulk in random piles were sorted using a custom vision algorithm to determine pouch center of mass. This enabled better picking from the top of the pile.
